The blogosphere has been blazing this week with various articles about this Nut-Job Baptist preacher in Arizona,  who proudly says he “Prays every night for the Death of President Obama, ..so that our Nation can be saved ! “.This guy is also a raging homophobe, who says “sodomites” should be taken out and shot.

Now, I’m all for Freedom of Speech, I would even defend a crazy bastard like the Reverend Wright from Chicago. These guys have a right to spew their garbage, and especially from a pulpit, there should be no interference from the Federal or State Governments,…But, as several observers have noted, if this kind of hate speech were being broadcast from a Muslim Madrassa instead of a Baptist (Strip-Mall) Church, people would be raising Holy Hell, and the Secret Service and Homeland Security would be all over these idiots, and their entire congregations would be thoroughly investigated.

So, my question is this : Since we have already seen Abortion Clinics bombed, and Doctors slain, after hearing this type of incendiary speech, Why do we allow some crazy, and possibly dangerous, person to do this, merely because he uses his warped interpretation of Bible to justify treasonous statements.

While writing this, I just saw CNN airing some footage of a protest in front of this guy’s church yesterday,(9-6-09), where people were protesting the preacher’s outrageous rhetoric. I had planned to give some kudos to the MSM for not giving this guy a lot of air-time, but now it seems that folks like me have Googled this subject so much, that they feel they have to cover it. So, I’ll give kudos instead to Rick Sanchez, who just said that he has refused several requests from this nut, to be interviewed, but Rick has repeatedly refused because he doesn’t want to give this kook a national platform to spew from. Sanchez also says this idiot’s strip-mall church has fewer members than the 100 or so protesters who were there yesterday.

I believe that we surely have some treason or sedition Laws that would fit this cretin, and also stand by my statement that if this crap was coming from any non-Christian source, that this person would be under arrest as I write !
